City Square Commercial Complex Launching Ceremony

The foundation stone and brochure release ceremony of the proposed commercial complex in the heart of the city ‘City Square’ by Rohan Corporation was held at Lalbagh, on Friday, January 18.

Former MLAs J R Lobo and Mohiuddin Bava, mayor Bhaskar Moily, M N Rajendra Kumar, president, SCDCC Bank, participated in the foundation stone laying ceremony for the commercial complex while Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, released the brochure of the building.

Fr Ravi Santhosh Kamath and Fr Wilson Vitus D’Souza, and Ahmed Musliyar, imam of Manjanady Masjid evoked God’s blessings and blessed the premises. Corporators Shashidhar Hegde and Jayanthi Achar, DB Mehta, president, CREDAI, Abdul Azeez, land owner, K Suresh Ballal, former chairman, MUDA, Haq Saheb, builders and members of the political fraternity were present.

Welcoming the gathering, Rohan Monteiro, managing director, Rohan Corporation said, “This year I am completing 25 years in real estate business. I am grateful to almighty for his continued blessings on me and my business. In these 25 years, I have successfully completed many projects and I am proud to say that these projects have paved a new direction to modern infrastructure in the city. Releasing the brochure MP Nalin said, “Rohan Monteiro’s contribution to the infrastructure of Mangaluru city is highly appreciable. We can say that he is one of the pioneers of modern Mangaluru. He has completed 25 years in his business now. I think City Square is his gift to the city. Being a ‘Smart City’, Mangaluru needs more and more modern infrastructure. I congratulate Property Infra Tech India Pvt Ltd of Rohan Corporation which is constructing this beautiful building.”

Former MLA J R Lobo said, “The locality of City Square is known for many things. The very famous MG Road is the main connectivity for this building. Apart from this, it is very close to the Mangaluru City Corporation building and KSRTC bus stand. Hence, in all ways, Rohan has chosen the right area for his new venture. Commercial complexes like City Square will always be helpful for the city in its further development.”
